Whitehurst
Carolyn Howard Whitehurst, 82, of Williamson died Saturday, Dec. 26, 2009. Services will be held Tuesday, Dec. 29, at 11 a.m. at The Church of Joy. Survivors include her husband, well-known former ASCS district conservationist Bryan Whitehurst.

She was an amazing woman my thoughts and prayers go to Mr. Whitehurst May god bless this family.

I loved Mrs. Whitehurst and am saddened to hear of her passing. She was an awesome teacher and I respected her so much. My prayers are with her family.

I have used the teachings of Mrs. Whitehurst more than all other teachers combined. She was a special influence to me. I always finished my class projects so quickly that she would let me make dresses for Kelly, her younger daughter.

Mrs. Whitehurst was a great teacher, and I also worked for Mr. Whitehurst some during the summer hauling hay from his farm to downtown Williamson
