The 2009 Pike County Pirates football team was honored last Thursday night at Christ Chapel Community Church. The first award presented was for the Highest GPA and Junior Bowen Flowers took the award with a 4.0 average.
Most Valuable Player for offense was awarded to Jasvion Wilson. Wilson was involved in many game-winning touchdown receptions. The Defensive MVP award went to Clint Moser. Moser led the defense in many categories throughout the season.
