A man was struck by a hit and run driver at 597 Piedmont Road Wednesday night at approximately 7:50 p.m.
Sheriff's deputies are searching for the assailant who is driving a 1987-1991 Ford F-150. The vehicle is thought to be a light color with primer spots. The truck will show damage on the passenger side from the door to the taillight. It will, however, be missing the taillight as it was damaged in the wreck and left on scene. There may be some damage to the undercarriage too evidenced by the accident scene. (this is a change from the original lookout

looks to me as if guy was drunk. I agree I hope he is cought and the law brings down its full fury on his shoulders. I was almost killed by a driver who couldent stay out of the ditch. well couldent stay in the ditch. I was hit by a guy comming out of the passanger side ditch head on! Sadly I dont know if he was drunk or what as he died on impact.
