With the recent surge of patriotism, veterans are held in high esteem for their sacrifice in serving their country. The honor is elevated to ultimate sacrifice when a life is given in sustaining America's freedom as a nation.

Lizanne .."Aunt Lizanne" to me, she is my father's first cousin. Is one of the loveliest women I know, and this story about my family is intriguing to say the least. Almeda who was married to Tex, was the most amazing women I ever met, she was Lizanne and I's Aunt, well my great Aunt. And Lizanne's father "the Admiral" was so strong, and loving and smart to say the least, he served our country and accomplished so much in his life. I am so proud to say all these people are my family!!
