One of the victims in Friday's traffic accident on Williamson-Zebulon Road has died of injuries he received in the crash. The crash involved several PCHS cheerleaders.

This mornig...the first thing I did was go online and read all of the hateful comments regarding this accident. I thought to myself....are people really this cruel? I even commented to one of the girls involved that I was proud of her for speaking out to all of these hateful people. I was wondering of people would have reacted differntly if someone had lost their life in this accident. Now....we get to find out how compassionate people here in Pike Co are. I hope that this will make people stop and realize that life is so short and there is no time for the mean spirited words. I feel for everyone involved in this wreck. I know that these girls will definately feel the pain knowing that someone died in this wreck. I am praying for you all.....

I have worked with Mr. Willie for the past 6 years. I just wanted to tell the family I am so sorry for your loss. He was a wonderful man with a great heart. Your family will be in my prayers and Mr. Willie will always be remembered in our hearts.

Pike County has lost a wonderful person. Mr. Willie was one of the kindest people I have even known. Thank you for always be such a great friend and co-worker. I will always remember your sweet smiling face. Rest in peace.
