Pirates lose to Jordan 32-28

The Pike Pirates lost 32-28 to the Jordan Red Jackets tonight in Columbus and fell out of the playoff race for good.

The Pirates host Lamar County next week. Lamar lost to Heard County 18-17 tonight.

I am attempting to listen to this game on the radio and it sounds like a bunch of mush...how disappointing. These announcers need some training, or need to get their mouths away from the mike. I can't understand a word they are saying...and this is on a BOSE radio.

The old JVHS came through with coaches who were raised and educated by cotton mill workers, players who are not delivered to school in big SUV's. Hat's off and a big salute to the coaches and football team of the Jordan Red Jackets.

I heard that Pike was up pretty good at one time but decided to still air it out rather than run the ball conservatively and it bit them.

you PC underclassmen need to get back to your studies...practice real hard & you might have a position next year.
