Prosecutors are expected to seek indictments against two local women when the Pike County grand jury meets this week.

I'm glad to hear that Mindi's actions are not going unnoticed. She did the crime and needs to do the time like everybody else,or will she be too pretty to go to prison like Debra Lave or whatever her name is?

There you are folks! KL has just admitted to being JEALOUS, anyone else care to chime in on this one? Well Mrs/Miss/Mr. KL, you are correct in that Mr. Karen IS rude (unless you are Mr. Karen). IF you folks are married, (and GOD help your spouses if so) you need to work on your own lives insted of worrying about someone elses. If your husbands or wives are cheating on you, I'm SURE it's NOT your fault!

Mindy has messed with a lot more men/boys than we can even imagine. She has serious issues no matter how "fine" she may be. She needs help and anyone who thinks its cool or hot that she has destroyed marriages or lives should be locked up with her.

I have known Mindi for a few years now and have spent time weekly with her..she always lead me to believe she was a true Christian and that she loved her husband...I know we are all imperfect, but for someone to claim to work with "youth" at their church and then do what she did......shame on her.
Jealous? No I have always thought she was a beautiful, well cared for women..I have no problem with her looks,I think more of us ladies need to put on makeup and look pretty FOR OUR HUSBANDS..but I do have a problem with her acions..A very big problem..have we all forgotten to love and respect our children? Our future, the small people that should look up to us as expamles.
I have enjoyed some of the funny comments the men have said about Mindi...Men will be men...But to me what this all boils down to is that there ARE adults, men & women, that think is ok have sex with children..go to the drug treatment centers and see how they turn out....it does not just "go away"..Even if the boy did enjoy it..the key word here is Boy..just a boy............
I believe that we would all be in a different mind set if this had involved an adult man and a young girl...how sad that we can laugh and make jokes about something like this.
It is just wrong..very wrong.

It only seems to bring my jealous side out when there are woman like that runnin' around with no respect for their own marriage so why would they care about mine. BUT it doesnt really matter now does it?

Sad in Pike - I am with you on this one. It is assumed by people that as a female we may be jealous of such a beauty. There is no jealousy rather than frustration. I know that I am an attractive young woman, but I also know that I have young teenage children of my own and the thought of ever having an affair with one of their friends has never crossed my mind. These young children are innocent. People that think this is cool and was fun for the young boy, should be with him when he has to take therapy or if he doesn't his parents. I am a strong advocate for children and believe that as adults we are to protect not make fun at situations like this. If the role was reversed and this was a man and a young girl I don't believe that there would be much joking about it. Anyway you look at it it is disturbing. So please Pike County recognize that molestation is in the county and we need to protect our children!!!!

Yes Im sure you could have 15 mins of fun, but back to the serious side...You are also having fun at All molested childrens expence.
And the fact that anyone can find any humor in this is what is wrong with the world today..at least where children are concerned..
I can tell by the way you write tells me that you are probably young and have no children..or maybe you Should be locked up with Mindi..
I have been close to 2 children that were taken advantage of..and I can promise you that there is no humor in it at all...it is dark and sad..
I just pray that they can laugh and trust again..

Look, the emoptional "protect the children" cry is getting old. It was a teenage boy who was obviously having a grand ole time with a hot cougar, and most likely won't be scarred for life from his experience. Ok, the law was broken, ho hum, but please be a little more realistic with your complaint. It would be much different if it were an 8 year old kid, but it wasn't.

Obviously Mindi is a beautiful woman. The teen boy involved will most likely NOT end up becoming another Ted Bundy from this experience.
If he is the one that initially showed the video, in order to brag, he will take some heat for her punishment from his buddies and maybe some of her family. When she grows old after Mother Nature and Father Time come to visit. The boy who will be a man by then will not point to Mindi and say...."let me tell you about what we did....."

It is OK to get some on the side as long as you attend church and ask forgiveness right afterwards. The confession boxes are full all week and it gives the father a lot of good leads he needs to share.

If you have any sexual relations with a minor you should be jailed no matter who you are. Rather or not the minor consents to it. They are children even though they my not act it. As an adult you should do what is right and that is not messing with children or teenagers.

You are not very observant. I said when the dust clears and she is old and wrinkled, that boy will be a man and ashamed rather than bragging. No thank you, men are plentiful, I never needed boys. If she is guilty she should be punished. Pretty should not change justice in any way whatsoever. Is that a little clearer for you? I hope you are not a courtroom observer in any official capacity. Not that it really matters, but it is interesting that less than 100 years ago, my great grandfather who was 18 married my great grandmother who was 12 and raised a grand family. She died in 2002 and he followed a couple years later. My grandmother and grandfather married at 15 and 20 a little more than 50 years ago. I understand child predators and molestation, but what has changed so much in the recent years that makes a teenager, especially an older one, a brainless infant that can not understand love?

Back then children were surrounded by love, responsibility and morals. Today they are surrounded by babysitters, computer games that teach them to kill...kill...kill... I will insert a little poem here that seems appropriate:

Don't Blame the Children

We read in the paper and hear on the air of killing and stealing and crime everywhere.

We sigh and say as we notice the trend, "This young generation, where will it end?"

But can we be sure that it's their fault alone, that maybe a part of it could be our own?

Are we less guilty who place in their way, too many things that lead them astray?

Too much money to spend, too much idle time, too many movies of passion and crime.

Too many books not fit to be read, too much of evil in what they hear said.

Too many children encouraged to roam by too many parents who won't stay at home.

Kids don't make the movies, they don't write the books that paint "cool" pictures of gangsters and crooks.

Delinquent teenagers — oh, how we condemn the sins of the nation and blame it on them.

In so many cases, it's sad but it's true; the title "delinquent" fits some older folks too.

Thankful to God I dont live in Pike co.! I know both families-both have messed up past's. (mindi's particularly sad) Not condoning any actions but i know for a fact the video is not her! She has stretch marks from 3 kids that would have shown. Also, has any one considered that people who do what ppl say she's done(which is debatable- no proof)are covering up some hurt somewhere else.(again not condoning it- if it happened)also there is a huge difference between how a teenage boy reacts to this stuff verses a teenage girl so.... yes there IS a difference. As, for her husband-ppl have said they feel sorry for him- She asked him more than once to go to counseling with her and he wouldnt.keep talking pike- Fair trial? whats fair???judgement been made by pike co. ppl when NO ONE HAS ALL THE FACTS!!!!

I know some teenagers who say the kid pursued her pretty hard. That he wore her down-(she seems like the type that has trouble saying "NO)... all i know is she was always super nice to everyone(male or female). still -hard to believe people want to crucify her. im sure all involved, esp. her family has suffered enough.
