The settlement of the case of former recreation authority director Shawn Shoats drew fire at the Sept. 6 Pike County commission meeting.

Parrish Swift you got to be kidding. Are you on drugs? Shoats was fired for fiscal mismanagement. Do you understand the term? Fiscal mismanagement is when you support the pipeline for Yancey and Steve Marro. FM is when you support a free well with a insulated pretty pump house on your mothers property paid for by the citizens of Pike. Shoats held two jobs at one time with the county while you were unemployed. Now you took a job with the vendor petroleum dealer that supplies gas to the county. Parrish Swift do not grandstand for re-election. Go quitely and eat a dark chocolate bar.

You want a blowhard polecat for district 1 commish or the experience Roosevelt Willis has gained during his 4 year term. And Willis did it without an assistant or secretary. There are two yous peoples that think JC can do it, him and her.

Neither Roosevelt Willis or John Morrison are qulified to be district 1 commissioner. The time is coming and Houston has had 4 years to better himself. Time for Houston to give them a Royal Flush.

JC used all the talents he has to get Houston elected during the last election. The Polecat was devoted to Houston for over a three week period. Houston turned his back on all the hard work and support he was blessed with by JC. Houston lost because of that!

Food for thought, Can the fire chief also be a commissioner? Parrish is a battallion chief. Danny Henderson lives in district 1 and would make a fine commissioner.
