Supreme court takes up case of cross on public land

The general notion is that America is a country founded on christian morals and ethics.

There is reference to God in the Declaration of Independence. Our presidents take their oath with their hand on the Bible. The most recent Supreme Court justice even put her left hand on the Bible held by her mother at her swearing in.

So if it is good enough for the goose why then is the gander put under such scrutiny?

Let's form a little state, the very south tip of Texas would be perfect, right at the Mexico border and give it to the ACLU. They pay no taxes, they just vow to never come North of their state boundary. You want to go visit and hear their garbage....strike a trot. People can worship turtles if they want to. Just leave the God loving Christians alone. Yeah, that is how I feel. C'mon all you crazies....give it your best shot.


If I were not so old and broke down, I would go take that plywood off and make another cross out of it.


Nope, I am not through yet. I hope you ACLU idiots realize that, as stated in the article, the Cross was erected in respect for victims of WWI victims. There were 117,000 United Stated soldiers killed during WW1 - out of the 4,272,500 deployed. There were also 204,000 wounded. You silly a$$ group of people need to go help the flood victims in Atlanta. Maybe some of your IDIOT genes will wash away. Do something productive with your ridiculous lives.

Here, here!! Good GRIEF!! Just think of all the GOOD that money could have done to help people instead of being wasted on this trivial mess. I'm not saying that the cross is unimportant, it's very important. But there are lots of things that need immediate attention in this country.

Can I hang my Star of David by The Cross it is a great religious symbal and the precurser to Christianty. So is the Islamic religion, can I put one of its symbols there too.

You can take your snake up there if that is what you worship.....but leave that cross for the Veterans alone. Your Islamic symbol is in The White House. I wish the ACLU would correct that problem. I know you are kidding anyway because if you are a UGA Grad, you worship those little, short ugly dogs. Like my friend of the past Lewis Grizzard. But at least he was a fun date.

Lewis did like his dawgs and I guess he dated some too. This is about the cross and not Obama. Are you so limited that you can not talk about anything else. Please leave Pike and see the rest of the country and try to see some of the world. Everyone is not all alike and every culture have something to offer.

That was too cute. LOL. Inever been called a dawg but Bitch rings a bell. I do not live in Pike and I have lived in and visited more states and countries than you can name.(or spell) Sickem' UGA!

But I can still explain it if you would like.....

I once worked with this cray lady.....She clamed to have seen the star of David above her bathroom door and under her bed, ( when she moved it )......I guess my thoughts on the Star of David ........if they start to appear from no where, THEN I would rather have nothing more to do with it........Then again if the Star of David really makes ppl this crazy then perhaps more ppl need to take intrests in the subject.......LOL!!
