Union City cycle crash victim identified as missing Pike man

A body found along with a crashed motorcycle in a wooded area off Jonesboro Road in Union City has been identified as Alex Chandler of Pike County.

Alex was a blessing to our family. We will always recall his love of the outdoors and the joy he was to our daughter Tracy Nell as they did "guy stuff" together. Thanks, Alex, for the forts, wars, tree climbing, camo, kayaking, and joy of life. You are a part of who Tracy now is.
