Judge Christopher Edwards deferred his decision on bond for accused killer Teresa Burousas pending a mental evaluation. Edwards ordered competency testing at a bond hearing this morning (September 23) in Pike County superior court.

Amen to that. what if all these other people claimed indanity like the Clark and Yose people and dthe Smith person they should do the same thing to her. Anyone can fake insanity. She should be tried for murder slong with her father.

They're trying to say she suffered mental abuse from her mother,and that is some kind of
excuse to murder somebody? I was verbally
abused at work today- does that give me the right to take anothers life? And get away
with it? Really, I was verbally abuse by
my mother and father, and I've never thought
about killing someone. That is no excuse for taking someone's life. If she was that bad off and her dad knew about it ,why didn't he have her put some where for the help she really needed before all this happened? I also agree with #4.

Where is Teresa's brother Stan Mangham (last I heard and then read in the Griffin paper he was a Principal for one of the Griffin/Spalding County schools?)and why has he not been called to testify or comment on their childhood and his sister? Is he estranged from his family? Maybe he has some thoughts about everything or memories of Teresa's relationship with her mother that was mentioned and was the reason for her receiving counseling or maybe he has memories of his own family relationships that could be shared? I just think it would be interesting to hear his side of the story. There are still SO MANY things to be examined in all of this murder case. People 'snap/lose it/go crazy' for a reason...usually the result of something traumatic in their life and sometimes it can take decades to surface. There's So much more to this than any of us know. And I AM NOT making excuses for anyone...I'm just being a REALIST because I have experienced a family trajedy because someone (my father) 'lost it' one day because of something traumatic that happened to him in his past, changed him forever and took years to surface and resulted in his death. SO...there's more to this murder than any of us know.

That is not the point. what murder suspect in any county in GA. is led to court not fully chain down. Shame on the sheriff dept for this special treatment.

Stan and Teresa were estranged at the time of the murder. They had disagreed about the care their mother was receiving when she was terminally ill and were not on speaking terms.

We are not anyone's judge...only God can do that. I am assuming that there is noone that has commented that is actually personally involved in what is going on in the lives of these two families. Take a step back, focus on your families and let the families involved in this tragedy grieve and deal with what is happening.

This goes to show drugs, psychiatric and/or others and mixing them can be dangerous.

I have to admit my favorite drug is Goodie powers. But many people like doing drugs to get high or in a good mood, help to sleep or stay awake. And if abused or mixed with others can become a addiction.

I hate sinus meds. because some of them can make me moody. I don't like the pain killers the doctor's prescribe for me because they knock me out.

I purely hate drugs! But I hate pain more. I have to be in unbearable pain to take them.

I think anyone who is having to take something for what ever reason should take note of how it affects them. And that applies when mixing drugs also.

Mental illness and insanity should not be an excuse for murder. If you murder another human being, then you should stand trial for murder, nothing less. A person can fake mental illness.

I agree with #8 but I also know if they bring her brother in, it could also hurt her case...(not that I am siding with her ) !! The lawyers look for ppl who are going to help her case, not to make it look worse on her.

So, what if she was "verbally" abused as a child by her mother. I'm sure her father witness a lot of this living, in the house with his family. Her father allowed it to happen and to it go on or just never did anything about it. But was there also other reasons as to why her mother "verbally" abused her?? Was she a bad child at home?? There could be many reasons for this. Only the ppl involved know the real truth and God of coarse. I would also like to know, why is it when someone murders another person they always have a mental issue?? The only mental issue this lady has is being led by the devil. The devil works inside of churches as well, so I don't want to hear she goes to church...Yea, well you know the devil was in heaven at one time as well. There is to much hate and greed in the world we live in today!! I pray that she gets the justice she deserves. I know that God will handle her in his own way and we should all leave that up to him. I also know she will have to live with the guilt of murdering her own husband....That may be where her mental issues steams out from and I will leave it at that world.....

Taking my diminishing cataractous vision into consideration,
is it possible that TMB has received a mini makeover, shed some pounds, a new hairstyle replete with highlights, discarded her eyewear, had Max Factor brushed on to conceal facial scratches from an awful beating?
Did TMB opt for the demure look by sporting a conservative Evan Picone suit? Are those coached blank expressions ?

Disabling sight infirmity prevents me from being positive.

IF the above questions are plausible, any aforementioned AWARDS for turning a disaster into a calamity, should go to the resident 'In House' Cosmotoligist, Hairdresser, and Style Coach bunking with TMB at the Upson County Jailhouse.
