A one-vehicle wreck in Concord resulted in a fatality around 3:45 p.m. Tuesday. A Pontiac Sunbird flipped on its roof in the grass next to a gazebo at the waking path in downtown Concord.

Sgt. Shannon Moulton of the Pike sheriff's office identified the victim as Brenda Gail Nalley, 54.

My Husband Tim Edwards knew Brenda Gail Nalley they were really good friends. It is very sad and upseting. We are going to keep them in our prayers... We love you Gail

It was not a teenager with three friends in the car. JC you need to monitor your blog instead of having the community up in arms about teenagers.

When do you plan to have more information on this story? Its been several days now. What happened,what caused the accident,were there any witnesses?

Gail, I am truly going to miss you and sitting in the swing, listening to the radio, or sitting and eating some of your delicious spaghetti sauce. There is nor more pain, suffering, or sorrow. I love you and will miss you.

This lady cuased quite a scene at the convenience store in Concord and had to be asked to leave. They think she was under the influence of something. Reports from CL at gas station say she was going about 90 mph. Heaven only knows what was wrong, my heart goes out to this poor woman who was suffering. Thank God nno one else was harmed.

I was an aqquaintance with the victim and witnessed her being saved at Little Bethel Baptist Church Christmas of 2007. I hate this for the family. My prayers go out to the family.

I was Gail's daughter in law for a long time and she was just the sweetest lady you would ever meet. She would have done anything for anybody. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, friend and wife to her husband Johnny Sego. My heart goes out to all the family and my prayers are with you all. I will miss you dearly Gail!!!! RIP

It is very sad to lose a member of your family, especially when you've been out of touch for so many years. I am Gail's cousin and I have wonderful memories from when we were kids. Especially at the house on HWY 138 at Halehaven! That big oak tree we used to climb is still there. I am praying for all of you!
