President Carter lays down his cards

In light of the Joe Wilson / Kanye West debates that rage on regarding public outburst I have begun to think about all the residual damage that can occur.

One such example is the public playing of the "race card" by former President Jimmy Carter.

Yes he did cross the line with that remark. He should have stayed on his tractor on the Plains peanut farm anyway. He gave away the Panama Canal when he was in office. If you mixed Carter and obama together you would get a peanut butter cup. Nothing more. When Joe called obama a lie, he was talking to the black and white part, so now is semi-racist a new word. Back to the peanut field Jimmy, back to Kenya obama.

Yea, calling someone racist is racist in itself. I'm sick of it all.
How come no one is putting up a fuss because blacks voted for Obama just because he is black?

I DONT UNDERSTAND THE WORLD WE LIVE IN. IM SURE EVERYONE HAS HEARD ENOUGH BUT I WANT TO VOICE MY OPINION. OBAMA IS AN IDIOT. POINT BLANK AND A LIAR. NOT BECAUSE HES BLACK BUT BECAUSE HES AN IDIOT. Former President Carter stated his opinion about Representative Wilson's behavior. One can never really know what motivates another person to behave like a jerk. One can only guess. Still, with President Obama continuing to get death threats on a daily basis, many with racist overtones, it would be foolish to think that race does not play a factor when others are disrespectful of him. Of course, President Obama took the high road in this case and hoped the whole thing would die down. Too bad former President Carter kept it going for another few weeks.

No need to use CAPS during a entire post that is pretty much a unwritten posting etiquette.

Also if you think about the numbers when Obama was voted to become the President there were actually a Whole lot more caucasions who voted for Obama then African Americans numbers wise. Percentage no.

The bottom line is I dont think any president would have succeeded no matter what. People love change so come the next election we will probably see a Female or Caucasion president again and then four years after that it will change again and that is just the way it is.

Now I saw in Clayton County where they are all over the caucasion for evidently roughing off the african american female. Well what would you do no matter what the color if someone spit in your face? You never know, you can say what you would and would not do but what would you really do.

But seems like a lot of folks are giving Kayne West a pass for the crap he did to Taylor Swift? But if A Cacausion would have done that to Beyonce for example I beg to differ that the outcry would be LOUD.

I mean it was like the football post on this site this week, there was not one thing said about skin color either way but someone wanted to pull out the race card for whatever reasons? except they just wanted to start controversy?

Yes everyone knows Georgia Past Race history but for many many years everything has been fine and then it seems like since folks from out of state have started to move here that they have much different views and how things should happen in Georgia. Nobody and I mean nobody is OWED anything just because of your skin color no matter what it is or what your sex is for what the matters also. Earn your keep and quit thinking this is your own World because it is not.

All presidents get death threats and probably on a daily basis. obama most likely was lying when he said that illegal immigrants will not be covered. He will simply use that ruse to get it passed then give all them that are already here amnesty so they are no longer illegal. He and Carter are Dumb and Dumber.

Well brainiack... no one said I was being etiquette just voicing my GOD GIVEN OPINION. I plainly said that I to made the same comments about bush.I dont agree with the "I dont think any president would have succeeded no matter what" comment. Look back,when Clinton was in office there were more jobs, more money and less deficit. Maybe because "momma" was running the show but still facts are facts. Im sure more "white" than "blacks" voted for Obama. But I hear alot of people complaining everyday about the decisions america made. I would do what every other hot blooded pissed off American would do. Id kick somebodys ass..It wouldnt be based on color, it be based on stupidity. I agree with you on the idiots who move here and pul lthe race crap repeatedly. And truthfully I feel Obama started this race b/s to hide the fact that he isnt doing anything but eating up the publicity. Every needs to recall the professor who happened to be of color and the police officer who happened to be white. Let me do a small recap. Very upscale neighborhood, lady sees a "black" gentleman and a "hispanic" gentleman breaking into her neighbors house. Calls 911 the police show up. Tell said "black" gentleman, if you can show you are the resident of this home we will let you go. Said gentleman refuses and they take him to jail. Wife brings proof and they apologize and let him go home. They do not charge him with tons of charges for his agression and "tude". Then low and behold No Brainerbama calls them both the "black" and "white" to the white house for beer on the back porch and to discuss the race issue. Wel llet me tell you this... from ME. I dont care if the officer is black white mexican or smurf.. if you see someone going into my house... even if its me and i show my ass and cant provide proof.... LOCK ME UP!!!! Id rather know my home is safe. I dont see where the cop was racist in that. I see he was doing his freaking job. The world is shot. and thats that.I agree with Sheila, every president gets death threats. Big whoop. Its part of the job, I cant say that if I ran for president I wouldnt expect or even in a way be dissapointed if I didnt get death threats. If no one hates you then you arent doing something right. Seems odd to say but its true.

People can be book smart and totally stupid in life situations. Just as these two perfect elected mistakes. Dumb they are about running countries. That is a test they cannot pass. Bill Gates was a drop out and Ted Bundy was a college Grad. Go figure.

Carter doesn't know a line in the sand from a line in his face. Remember, he drew so may lines in the sand in he middle east it looked like a Etch a Sketch. He never backed up one promise he made in the middle east. Then He let the deserters come back after Vietnam. I bet he got beat up on the play ground at school to. Carter is a spinless peanut picker and that all he is worth to this country. He should have been forced to leave Georgia.
