A 23-year-old woman was lifeflighted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta September 2 after losing control of her vehicle and striking the entrance to the Masonic Lodge. A three-year-old child in the car was also injured.

If anyone knows an update on the condition of the accident victims please post it. I will continue to pray for these people and their families.

Does anyone know the name of the girl that went into the car and got the baby out? She is tall with dark hair...she is a Hero...Seems like she might have gotten hurt trying to get the child out of the tangle of seat belts...
I think she works at Winds & Things
Would love to know who she is...Very brave thing to do. Our local Hero.

I saw a big bald headed guy rush out of Wings and Things he obviously had some Fire/EMS experience and he was kind of directing things and right away asked PD to start a helicopter and he told someone to break the back window out to get the little girl out ASAP and some young teen broke the window out and then the Waitress from Wings and Things and another guy went and got the girl out who was upside down and then the one guy who seemed experienced tended to the Lady who was upside down in critical condition and continued assisting on the scene with patient care until the Ambulance went to the High School to take her away in a helicopter. She was waitress from Wings and Things. I also noticed the first on scene EMS/Fire Person was the Fire Chief and he and the other guy were doing everything they could to help the lady.

samantha is in very critical condition. she has two broken legs and her wrist is broke. She is on a ventalator to help her breath because she cant breathe on her own. She can hear what you say when you talk to her and she writes down on a white board her reply. We are all praying for samantha. and hopefully she will get through this. The little girl who's name is Grace, is doing ok. they took her to eaglston.

Mother and child are doing great. The baby is home from the hospital with scrapes and bruises. Mother is doing good and expected to make a full recovery and be home in a few days. Personal thanks from the family to all that helped in this accident with my daughter and grand daughter.

Samatha is from Thomaston. She is going to school to be a teacher. She is an awesome person. Grace is precious. Samantha we love you and I have a prayer chain going for ya! Hope you come home soon. You are a strong young woman! YOU GOT THIS!!!!

i was at the scene of the accident that evening. the lady from wings and things was incredible, as well as were the men who stepped in and took charge right away. i am so happy to hear they are both doing well. they have been in my prayers in mind since that evening.

Tiffany is a great caring person. She has two little girls, probably what motivated her to get the baby out of the car.

I just wanted to say thank you again for the prayers!! Samantha's surgery went well, she is now the proud owner of an external fixator (much to her dismay) and 2 casts. Grace is doing well, glad to be home playing dolls and running around. I will keep you updated!!

Joan thank you so much for keeping posting updates i went to school with Sam and was told Friday about the accident and have been praying and trying to find a way to make sure her and Grace were ok. I will continue to pray!!! Please keep updates!!! God Bless yall!!!
