The Pirates started the ‘09 season on the right foot with a 52-20 victory over the Pacelli Vikings from Columbus.
The Pirates drew first blood when Andrekus Rogers plowed into the end zone on an 11 yard run. Andrew Chau hit the PAT and the Pirates led 7-0 at the 8:30 mark of the first quarter.
