He was in the middle of the rape case at the Kennedy compound in Florida after leaving the O Bar. He and Smith should have been jailed.
He is not a HERO!
This long swim was completed after the boozing womanizer "repeatedly dove down to the car in an attempt to see if the passenger was still in the car." (from Teddy's testimony) Read about the event at http://tinyurl.com/yqvhqj
Teddy was involved in the William Kennedy Smith rape case and numerous drunken escapades and was a worthless husband to his wife Joan.
He was a ruthless politician and back room wheeler dealer. In 1985, there was a good movie named "BETTER OFF DEAD" starring John Cusack. In my opinion, there should be an updated version of this movie entitled BETTER OFF DEAD 2009 starring Teddy Kennedy via film clips and photos of his many headline grabbing drunken escapades. His buddy-buddy Michael Moore could direct this future classic remake. Remember when Ol' Teddy was stammering from the podium while trying to introduce Obama? "Osama Bin, uh, uh, Osama Obama, uh, uh, Barack Obama" is a true classic line.
He is BETTER OFF DEAD! I won't miss him!
Bring it on Kennedy loving LIBERALS!
Pike County Punster
Don't bury his sorry butt in Arlington!
Must not be any real news to report.
President Kennedy made putting a man on the moon a primary objective. He started the Peace Corps. He stood up for Civil Rights. He worked for normalcy with the Soviets. Yes, he did continue Eisenhower's limited involvement in Viet Nam, but that situation was a time bomb begun by the French (surprise, surprise) and their colonization of the area. He had planned to withdraw troops, a decision reversed by Johnson after the assassination.
Robert worked tirelessly as Attorney General and was instrumental in all of JFK's accomplishements. He also went after organized crime, and was very publicly opposed to Johnson's Viet Nam policies.
Eunice Kennedy Shriver founded Special Olympics.
Let's remember this is a family with members like most of our own families. Good and bad, human beings.
