"I love my Kindle. I can't imagine not having it when I am at the airport or a soccer game or something."
I sat in bewilderment as my cubicle neighbor described her newfound literary love. It was as if she had never heard of a book until Amazon introduced the Kindle - a digital book reader.
Will the digital book replace the printed classics?

If the world and technology changes as fast as it has in my lifetime, books are history. I consider it a sad passing. I enjoy reading. I hope one day real soon, God hits that big MASS DELETE button in the sky. I hope Bill Gates, DARPA, and all computer geeks say, "What the hell was that? We can't reconnect to the satellites. Damn! I wish I had a good book to read." Then I hope God calls Walter and Laura and gives them the magic code so I can blog. Just in case, put a good book in your Kindle case.
