Sonia Leigh is pursuing a promising music career in Atlanta with dreams of brighter stardom to come, yet she remembers her Pike County home.

Hey idiot, the proper pronoun is 'SHE'. SHE has style in keeping with her age. I'm proud whenever someone from Pike County follows their dreams and becomes successful at it.

Try celebrating the success of others instead of tearing them down just because their way may not be yours.

Get a life! Your jealous because you never made anything out of yourself and she did. She is an awesome singer and songwriter who has style and character. You obviously dont know anything about that. Most people would try comments such as Good Job, or were proud of you but I guess your not the type to congratulate anyone.

She's not from Pike, she spent PART of her youth in Pike, and attended Pike High. As the article states....

Oh, sorry, looked like a little boy from the photo provided. And the "tramp stamp" I see is on "her" upper arm there. How classy, right?
We'll happily get out of "her" life when "she" stops trying to put "herself" in the public spotlight, but until then, "she" leaves "herself" open to this type of speculation, like it or not.

A lot of people who make comments like this are the same people who play the lottery “religiously”, steal copy paper from their job, gossip, lie, think they are better than everyone else, frequent the local liquor store on Friday, gamble on Saturday and occupy a pew on Sunday. Everyone has an opinion. This is true, but what is so sad is people that must put other people down to build their own self worth and validate their own pitiful existence. It shows that they lacked something in their upbringing. Things like love, compassion and encouragement. You have a long way to go before you can preach that rhetoric that you are attempting to pass off as a sermon.

Sonia’s profile views on her page and fan list is like wow! I like the shots from the Tabernacle. To get this far in her career she is definitely a seasoned professional and is used to taking praise and criticism. It comes along with the job. Any PR rep will tell you that any publicity is good publicity. I hope Sonia is reading this little PC blog and smiling.

Wow! I am so happy for you! I just love it when someone with a small town background follows their dreams and makes them come true! You know, the more famous you become, the more you'll be putting yourself out there, so just continue to stay strong and always be true to yourself, and you can overcome any obstacles that may come your way. "Everything Happens for a Reason".... Even mean blogs from people - they just help to remind you how great you are doing and show you that you have so many out there who envy you and so many who support you!

So very happy for you and way to go, Brandy for speaking your mind in this blog and backing her up!

Ok Craker head, I'v read your babling long enough. I for one know this girl better than anyone on here. You see I'm her dad. Im not scared for you to know me.(Dennis Rolling) I'm not anonymous. I raised my children to have pride and respect for people even like you. You need to know I attended one of her concerts this weekend. Hundreds of people were singing hers songs along with her. I am proud of her hard work and sacrafices. Oh by the way I was there when Sonia was born. Shes a girl. I think mostly you might just want to stir up junk on here. Well you have done that. so share your stupid opinions with the stupid people. Most of what I'v read on this and other articals were people with an IQ much higher than yours. But Sonia is the kind of person, even after what you said about her she would still help you if she found you in need of something. She would not put you down in public or try to tarnish your name. You need to think on things before you write them. Again what a Craker Head you are!!!
A lot of her music is about home and Pike County. I'm sure when she makes it, and,she is about to.And you see her on TV or hear on the air you will say she is singing about where I live. And you know? She will be. Even you. I'm sorry her apperal offends you. But she's not dressing for your approval.

Sonia just wanted to say your awesome. I know I cant travel and see all of your shows, but I am glad I came to unplugged in Atlanta this weekend. To see everyone there packing that place yelling for you and singing along with your songs was amazing. I always knew you would go far but I don't think I was prepared. Your awesome!!! Hope maybe soon you can come to Pike County and play and I hope some of those with negative comments can be there. I believe they might have a change of heart they may not like your jeans or your tatoo but i bet they would be proud of you coming from Pike County. It takes talent to write music like you do. Keep your head held high. Thank 99X for their generosity they obviously believe in you too. Love you Mom.

I am an old lady but have always believed in this statement..."Never tell a child they cannot achieve their dreams, for it will be so sad if they believe you." I really like some of your comments. I just have no patience for ignorant people I guess it is in my genes.

I do want to say thanks to all the supports out there. I know everyone has their opion and everyone is rightly entitled. I just dont get why there has to be so much hatred and uncalled for comments. If you do like her great but just because you dont like her, really do you have to be so rude... I mean Miley Cyrus really? She is tallented but just not for me!!!!
Everyone has a dream I just hope all the mean commentators on here dont reap what they sew....
