Hope they do something with that hair.... Good lawd she so gapped up it pitiful... and i really hope she gets the max which is DEATH if she is found guilty and not let that temporary insanity get her off.
Eye for a Eye, she doesn't deserve to live,
why shuould we pay for the next 40 years of her life in Prison. We meaning TAX PAYERS!!!!
She doesn't deserve to life..
Also add to her charges false police report...
she Lied!
It really is sad when people are convicted before the trial. It appears to me that some of you might know more than you are telling. Were you there? Do you know this woman? She is a wonderful person and I think it is sick for people to comment on her hair etc.
I was always taught that it is Justice for all not JUST- US
She will never have a fair trial in Pike County.
I agree. The comment about the hair was unwarranted. Someone's appearance has nothing to do with guilt or innocence, and it was a cruel thing to say. People's true core comes out when they're allowed to hide behind the cloak of anonimity.
The court can decide whether she's guilty, and if so, she should pay for the crime she committed. Wonderful people don't kill their spouses, regardless of circumstances. If she killed Buzz, she's not wonderful. If that's the case, and you think she's wonderful, then you don't know her so well, either.
Insurance silly. Some people still have such a thing as insurance !!!!!!!!! Her insurance at that.
All I can do is pray for ignorant people because I know God made them too.
OK... since you want a comment from someone who knows her... How's this: She is a two-faced, self-serving, lazy, useless, waste of oxygen who is completely capable of doing something like this. Honestly, I hope that she doesn't get the death penalty. That way the taxpayers won't have to pay to defend her and she can spend the rest of her life in misery for murdering the best thing that ever happened to her.
i wonder how long before someone said she would noy get a fair trial in pike county. lordy mercy..if i am correct its jury of your peers while i don't think her peers are in another county do you......
I wonder why sheila tolley isn't commenting on this one!!!! probably bc she feels stupid!! she was saying all along that this woman was innocent!!! well i knew that there was something fishy about the whole thing!! WHY AND HOW COULD SOMEONE DO THIS TO THEIR OTHER HALF????
Doesn't sound like you know her too well.
You have got to know she won;t get a fair trial in a small Mayberry Town like that. Half of the people there have already convicted her and she has not even gotten a bond yet.
I know all tooo well how the law works in places like that since my father retired from a small town police department also. It is a shame that they don't have honest cops like he was. Well they are far and few anyway.
Yoou people will also be jugded one day and it will be worse.
As far as two faced there are people like you every where and it sounds to me like you are the same dog that brings a bone and also carries one.
How can she get a fair trial with people like you telling all these lies on her. Who will thye believe? A lier and a cop with a badge or an innocent person. Sorry the system just works that way. How many people are in jail that are innocent and years later the DNA proves their innocence? How many cops and small people lie and come forward later to help them get released? Watch the news read the papers. It is a daily thing in this world.
Don't sound like you know her at all.
Judge not as ye shall be judged.
I wonder why people that have such nasty things to say won't even tell there name? They hide and run there mouth behind screen names. It will alll come out in court though and then you all will have egg all over your face for sure,
These aren't my peers that will judge this trial but it is peers that are as narrow minded as you people. She will NEVER GET A FAIR TRIAL THERE. Look at the politics behind both families. Don't you think people will take out on someone because they might have gotten mad at one of the fathers. I have been mad at my peers over politics before.
If my daddy was still alive and worked there you would see what a fair and honest cop.
Don't we even have cops in prision for lieing and killing a 94 year old bed ridden woman just to keep their quota up?
Give it up and go watch your soaps since that seems to be the mantality of most of the people on here.
I would love to hear her say why did she do it.....Was it for money?? What?? He would've given her everything like he has been doing since they have been together.....He will be deeply miss....I think she deserves the death penalty, he didn't ask to die like that...
You have the Idiot Syndrome that is spreading around.......Sheila Tolley AIN'T said nobody is innocent. I will go out on a limb here and say that Teresa is in jail so, with the fire added to the list , multiple people are involved. Sorry people.
I wish all these morons on here would just stop and think what they are saying!!!!! "she will never get a fair trial" come on are you serrious?? do you actually think that she's innocent? please! first he's murdered and she was supposably beaten but release the next day and then she's found guilty and goes to jail and then her house "CATCHES ON FIRE" y'all are DEF! some idiots! i mean seriously!!!!! there is no "fair trial" she's guilty!! she needs to get what she deserves for killing her spouse! she is a cold hearted person!!!
First of all, I am sure your dad was a good police officer, but I am also certain that Jimmy Thomas is a highly qualified officer of the law. He has gone far and above what is necessary, to educate himself for the office he holds. He attended classes with the FBI for twelve weeks to further educate himself in areas that no other Sheriff in our county, for the last 20 years plus, that I am aware of, has ever taken. I am sure he has been careful to gather the evidence necessary before he filed murder charges against Teresa Burousas, as they are serious charges.
Secondly, we live in a small county, but look around you, we are not an uneducated people. Many, many of us live in nice homes, drive nice cars, and bothered to get an education. We have citizens in Pike County who are school teachers, ministers, business owners, attorneys, entrepreneurs, government officials, etc. Our State Representative lives in Pike County...imagine that? I am confident that the DA and attorney for the defense will be able to choose a jury of twelve and an alternate, from this county, capable of giving Mrs. Brusousas a fair trial. There may be "politics" behind both families, but neither family will be seated on the jury!
Many may have an opinion as to whether or not she deserves the death penalty, however, if she does not meet the requirements as mandated by Georgia state law, so be it! I am sure the DA would have applied for it if he could. IF she is found guilty, a life sentence will, most likely, be worse than a death sentence for someone who is accustomed to freedom on an everyday basis.
Thirdly, people are being released from jail on cases using DNA that was not available in those cases years ago. IF there is any DNA that might apply to this case, it will be available NOW.
Lastly, I am not judging you. I am merely commenting on the remarks you are making about the citizens of Pike County. I don't believe that most of us fit your qualifications. I am proud to be a citizen of Pike County. I was not born here, but moved here over twenty years ago. We raised our children in Pike County and our grandchildren reside here. We can boast about having one of the finest school systems in the state of Georgia. People move to Pike County for that reason. I am not sure if you live here, but if you do, and are not proud of your fellow citizens, I am sorry for you. We are, contrary to your belief, as a whole, a nice group of people!
The best we can do now is pray for Mrs. Burousas, the two families, as well as the people who will sit on this jury...and as you said...judge not unless ye be judged!
