Dogs kill rabid raccoon near Vega Road

Residents on Pine Valley Road near Vega Road and surrounding area are asked to be on the lookout for a stray dog – and animals acting strangely – after a raccoon, killed by dogs in the area, tested positive for rabies.

Wait? There's actual rabies in Pike County and no one comments?

But the entire county is posting about a "possibility" of swine flu/ H1N1?
