Georgia State Patrol Post 26 in Thomaston issued 69 traffic citations in Pike County during February including 50 for speeding and 13 seat belt violaions. They issued 36 warnings.

ITHINK A GOOD WAYTOHELP PIKE COUNTY ISTO START CHARGHING ALL THE SPEEDERS ON NEW HOPE RD .IT IS LIKE A RACE TRACK.IKNOW AT LEAST ONE PERSON HAS BEEN KILLEDAND ALOT OF OTHERS HAVE HAD CLOSE CALLS.

I think all roads should be monitored better. I live off Hollonville Rd. and we have people speeding up and down all the time this includes police with no lights on. Everyone should have to obey the law.

I liveonNewHope Rd.Iamafraid to cut the grass by the road.The carsgo by so fastand come so close.I was going to just let the county do itbutnow thatthey might not have the funds to do this.I am a lady and my health is not so good.DOESANY BODY HAVE ANY IDEAS?
PLEASE LET ME KNOW SOON THE GRASS IS GROWING FAST.

I totally agree about New Hope Road, people drive like they are at Atlanta motor Speedway i sit outside an just watch them fly down that road, i know there has been alot of wrecks on this road and something needs to be done to slow them down on New Hope i hate driving down it to get to zebulon, it dangerous.
