The intersection improvement has been on the drawing board for at least 10 years and this just gives the DOT a way to fund it. Not real high on the priorty list and will provide 0 jobs to Pike county.

Road work may be needed, but why send so much needed money on projects that we have already lived with for 10+ years. The stimulus money should be sent on project that will put people back to work. Not just a handful of people building a road, but General Contactors, Sub Contractors and companies that supply to the commercial construction industries. The companies that build roads have not had to lay-off employees as much as other construction industriae have. Sonny does not care because he is not running for Governor, And I will not even start on O.B.A.M.A.!! (One Big Agonizing Mistake America)
