Accused murderer Jamie Weis was scheduled to go to trial next month but his date with a Pike County jury has been postponed until October.

Yes, Anonymous, I think you are disgusting. Circumstances and life happens that puts us in the wrong places at the wrong time. I am curious as to what makes you think you are any better. Karma has a nasty way of biting one square on the ass when they think they are better than others or choose to cast judgment on someone or something they have not been personally involved in. While I am sure my faith is not the same hypocrisy as yours, the last time I checked the Bible said "Judge not, lest ye be judged." I don't get paid enough to do it and I am sure that you don't either... By the way, I did have balls to post my name and not hide......

Hello, I know Jamie and I know what kind of life he had growing up.What he did was wrong, but you people dont know what kind of childhood he had .Close our eyes and picture living and being raised by your grandmother that was on him every day and corrected by her.And when his dad came home she would get him in more trouble with his dad for the same thing she whipped him for.He couldnt get one day of peace around her .And every one of his cousins treated him like he was the odd man out.Im truly sorry for the womans family .There is always 2 sides 2 every story.And by the way Jamie is my cousin and I wouldnt be affraid to let him live with me.

There are many many people in much worse situations than this guy grew up in. Most aren't out murdering grandmothers so they can get high.

He made a choice. Now he wants to blame his "childhood" for his adult choice. And you're making excuses for a murderer. People like you enable this type of crime.

Every body has a choice in life to do whats write .Im not saying what he did was write .And for the drugs he did .Thats all on him . You and many other people thank he blames his childhood for what he did but did any of you think that maybe thats what started the drug use in the first place.Im not making excuses for him . And Im not saying its okay to take a life .But the way you are raised in your home growing up plays apart in who you will become in life.If you live in a home where everything you done you got beat on and yelled at and treated like a dog you just might understand what lead to the drugs he done .I wish I could take you back in time just so you could really see what kind of a childhood he really had growing up . Then maybe you would understand why people do the wrong things in life.

u need to back up read your bible judge and be judged that is my friend. he made a mistake.the justice system has screwed him.what he did was wrong but in a moment of desperation.i know he regrets every second of it.he is in my heart and prayers.i will love him always. judge and be judged.

i'm sure he regrets it too now that he's been caught.

the justice system hasn't screwed him, he screwed himself. but i do agree with one thing, we need to go back to quick trials and even quicker punishments.

when the gavel drops and the guilty verdict is read take them to the noose.

how do you think the children and grandchildren of this old woman felt?
