Sheriff Jimmy Thomas reported today there have still been no arrests in connection with the July 1 murder of Jimmy (Buzz) Borousas Jr. at his Concord home.

The victim's wife, who told authorities she was assaulted in the same attack in which her husband was killed, is being shielded from the media by her father, Pike County commission chairman Doug Mangham.

Sounds very shady to me!!! Something about this isn't right!!!! Could that be the reason her father's "shielding" her from the media?????

if someone nearly choked you to death and helped build your house.would you not be able to describe them to a sketch artist. one black and one white aint much of a description.we want to know what they looked like.they may be your neighbor.maybe jimmy aint running for sherrif next election.

There are several things that don't seem to add up. If they knew the attackers, then why haven't they announced their names? If she was so badly beat up, why was she out of the hospital the next day and out walking in her yard? Why was she attacked and not kill but he was taken out with one shot? Was he the target? 1 + 1 isn't adding up to 2 in this case.

Good decision on Doug's part, I would not trust the media either. Tell your daughter to stay as far away as she can. We have a Sheriff's department that will sort this out in time.

The entire story sounds fishy to me. First report was the wife was severly beaten and shows up 24 hours later with a minor wound on her face.

I DONT SEE WHERE THE MEDIA IS BEING A BUNCH OF CRYBABIES AT ALL. AND I HAVE YET TO SEE THEM "TRASH" THE VICTIM. BUT REVIEW THE FACTS... FIRST OF ALL THEY WERE ASSAULTED. HE WAS KILLED AND SHE WAS SAVAGELY BEATEN AND AIR LIFTED TO ATLANTA TO THE HOSPITAL.SHE CALLED HER DADDY NOT THE POLICE FIRST... THE NEWS CREWS SHOW HER LOOKING FINE AND LEAVING THE HOSPITAL. (THIS IS AN OPINION) OK SO HERE WE GO.... MY OPINION IS THIS IF I HAD THE HELL BEATEN OUT OF ME I WOULDNT CALL MY DADDY FIRST. ID CALL THE POLICE THEN MY DADDY. I GET LIFE FLIGHTED TO THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE AN EMT IS OVER ANXIOUS. AS SOON AS I GET OUT AND FIND OUT THAT MY HUSBAND IS DEAD, THE FIRST CAMERA IN MY FACE IS GOING TO HEAR DETAILS SO I CAN HELP FIND MY HUSBANDS KILLER. AND IF I CAN NOT COMMENT ON SOMETHING BECAUSE THE POLICE DONT WANT ME TO THEN I WILL POLITELY SAY IM SORRY I CAN NOT COMMENT ON THAT RIGHT NOW. IM NOT GOING TO HIDE OUT AT MY DADDYS HOUSE. GOD BLESS HER, HER FAMILY AND HIS AND HOLD THEM IN THEIR TIME OF PAIN BUT HIDING ISNT GOING TO MAKE IT GO AWAY. SHE WAS THERE AND MAY BE ABLE TO GIVE INFO TO HELP LOCATE THE SUPPOSED CRIMINALS. NOONE IS EVEN CONSIDERING HIS FAMILY IN THIS ARE THEY?

I'm not concerned about the Father shielding her but however if something she knows is worthy of the media letting the citizens know that may help capture the criminals than that would be another thing. The first 48 to 60 hrs are so crucial in finding them.

Why everyone can not just pray for this family and allow the SO to do there job. They will get to the bottom of this whatever happened. And whomever done this will be brought to justice. May God be with you all.

The SO isn't going to be out there tossing out names unless they have solid leads. Give them time to put the pieces together, people!
And each one of us handles shock and grief in our own way. So I don't think it's right to second guess the wife in this matter. And she's lucky she has her father to buffer her from the intrusions. As long as she is cooperating with the SO, the rest of us can mind our own business until this becomes our business.

Does Sound fishy. No emotion, no nothing form her. People want evryone to pray fro the family and shut up about making comments.Praying is fine, but the citzsens just want answers and they are trying to put the pieces together, because they don't like the fact that a murder is walking around somewhere whether here or in a another town. She shouldn't have been outside her home when the media was showing it on TV. She had a spokesperson, her dad, she should have stayed in the house. Instead she's shown out walking the dog, which could have been let out in the back yard with the rest of the dogs. She didn't have to come out front and be seen on the TV. She didn't look all the hurt on TV. She also didn't show any kind of emotion when she look to the camera that day. And if they killed her husband, do you honestly think they would leave someone alive behind to identify them. Her father said she was choked unconcusious, sure they probably thought she was dead, but they didn't check for her pulse to see if she was infact dead. They just left according to her. I belive I would have checked to be sure she was dead, if it were me doing the killling, You wouldn't want to leave anyone alive who could identify you!!!!!!! things just don't add up. Too one story was she was out working in the yard??? Another story was she was waiting on her husband to get home to go to dinner???? Which was it??????? And yes, if the killer's are possibly known by the victims, why aren't names being dropped????? Did she do it???? Or did someone else actually do it????? Questions, Questions, Questions??????????????

i dont believe the white guy and black guy exist. And I dont believe the SO can crack this case. Plus the daddy seems to have some pull!! Pike County has so many investigations that have never been solved. Its really pathetic.

From what I understand it is out of the SO hands now and the FBI is handling this case... somebody knows something and it will come out in the end. For somebody to be savagley beaten as they put it and she was home the next day and at the funeral without a mark on her... yeah what's up with that.

she was sitting in the funeral home drinking a cup of coffee. was the first to leave the gravesite and didnt have 2 words to say to buzz's family. i hope im wrong. but i think at the minimum she is involved. if your going to shoot buzz to death why not her. if she was beaten so savagely she had to be air lifted to atlanta why doesnt she have and bruises or cuts. if they stangled her unitl she passed out where are the ligature marks. daddy has alot of clout in pike county and you dont think he wont protect her with it. i hope the fbi is involved. maybe then there is a chance this case gets solved.

I find it odd that the killers would shoot the husband and then go back, get a tire iron and hammer and attack her. Were there any defensive wounds on her hands or arms?

HAS ANYBODY LISTENED CLOSELY TO THE FATHERS TWO INTERVIEWS WITH FOX 5. CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG . FIRST INTERVIEW THE FATHER IS SAYING THAT SHE CALLED HIM AND HE FOUND HER BEATENED. SECOND INTERVIEW HE SAYS WHEN HE GOT THERE THEY WAS STILL BEATING ON HER. WAS THEY STILL THERE WHEN HE GOT THERE OR AM I HEARING THIS WRONG? BUZZ, I HOPE THEY CATCH THESE PEOPLE SOON. I saw the victom wednesday at freshway with her father. in the checkout counter she was smileing and laughing, as if nothing has happened. Did she want her husband dead? is she to blame? did she hire a white male and a black male? This just isn't adding up!!

She's been through a lot in a short amount of time. I know she is having a hard enough time dealing with all this.

I don't know if she did it, had it done, or if she is innocent.

If she is innocent, her family and friends are reading this stuff. She maybe reading this! I'm praying for her and her family.

How would you feel, if it were you being raked over the coals. Everybody picking everything you do to death.

I know how that feels, I'm 100% in the right and have the proof. But some people have went over board in the wrong direction and broke laws to break me.

I hope Teresa is strong enough to face her demons even if it's just the holly-er than thou bunch here in Pike County, If she is right God is with her.

Personally I have always thought a lot of her.

God is with me! I'm standing my ground!

If when her father got there and they were still beating her, why did they not beat him????
There are alot of stories out there,some true some not. But all I know is what I saw on TV, she wasn'tshocked, she wasn't upset, nothing. Her father was more upset, than anyone, his voice was evern tremnling. He has no problem speaking in public. I believe he was shaken by what he saw at the end of the driveway... In my opinion, and thats just wahat it is, my opinion, she's looking very guilty at the moment. No emotion, she should have been out of cameras view that day the media was there. She had a spokes person, daddy, she should have not been seen on camera. He is sheilding her maybe for what she might say that might hurt herself????? Who knows. Like I said this is my opinion, whcih Im entitled too. As we all are on here voicing opinions... So don't jump down our throats for voicing our opinions, we still have freedom of speech. ......

Peaches, lots of people are in agreement with you. Leave Teresa alone and thimgs will work out. Everyone should quit damnation of her, she has a life ahead of her. Those same people are now judging if Doug can effectively govern the BOC. Peaches it is so nice to post and not be edited, deleted or banned. I am happy you found another avenue to express your thoughts.

The fact that they couldn't find anything wrong with her at the hospital and she left that night is proof enough that she wasn't beaten. Come on people, no one's looking for a white guy and a black guy in a trans am. The truth is going to come out very soon!!

In Thomaston a MAN was beaten in the head with a hammer. By his WIFE. HE DIED. If a woman can kill a man with a hammer. Two men with tire tool and hammer would have killed her. Or at least turned her face into ground beef and her brain into a vegetable.

I have a theory, Maybe she killed her husband went to the home to get a hammer and rough herself up. After the frst couple of WACKS!!!!! that $hit hurt to bad so she quit. Made the crime scene look like a robbery to cover up a murder.
Question:

1. did PCSO do GSR test on her hands?
2. did they finger print the assualt weapon?
3. did PCSO look into the money situation?
4. is there insurance money to be collected?
5. After the PCSO cracks the case, will this incident be seen on the A&E series of "Snapped"?

Life flight to Atlanta? They see shootings all the time. So they test for it if someone got shot at the scene, and they do it just about 3 to 4 times a week if not more!

I think our local Hospitals are not as prepared for,or as used to testing of power residue.

Is anything going to come of this. I was scared that week after this happened. My children are 14 and 15 and at home with no one else there. Do we need to be scared for our children to be at home now. I moved to Pike County just because everone talked so high of this place. I do love it here,but come on can the police at least tell the people of Concord what is going on.If we need to be scared are not. Well I can say if I was getting beat up and hit I would sure the hell would fight back and do whatever I could to get to a phone or even away, and MAKE SURE I CALLED THE POLICE INSTEAD OF MY FATHER. I think I would rather have someone who knows what they are doing first and then call my family. Thier have been a few people that have lived after being shot,so why not call a EMT first. It could have saved him.. NOPE DAD WAS CALLED. She does need to be blamed for at least that. I would want all the help I could get to try and at least save my husband....... Wouldn't you.

“At this point in time we don’t feel anyone else is in jeapardy,” given by Thomas and printed in the Thomaston Times speaks for itself...If there was really two killers on the loose, I would like to believe that the S.O. would be warning residents and citizens to be on the look out for the suspects and to tell us that they are armed an dangerous. I dont believe that I have yet to hear a warning of this kind... has anyone else...

Ok, I agree with you on everything but you said that she should have called an EMT to come check out her husband in case he could have been saved. Its my understanding that she didn't know that her husband was even there. she didn't find out that he was shot until she was at the hospital. Or at least thats how the story I heard went. Who Knows? Personally, I think she did it.

This person, ( or Persons) who done this to you will be caught soon, and hopefully they'll be seeing the inside of a prison very soon.
