Brian, If you lose this election will it effect the expansion of the Molena Mall and upgrading the Molena Airport to handle Jumbo Jets? As a former Mayor will the local merchant still bring your change for purchases you walk away from when you are mad? Will there be open debates?
Sheila, Please meet me in the Delta Crown Lounge on the 4th level of the Molena International Airport. We need to discuss the Mayor's race. Let's meet Sunday since that is the only place you can buy a beer in Molena.
All other cities have beer sales on Sunday in Pike but the existing Mayor got mad and said no to the public citizens.
Have you tried the Mickle Lite?
Councilman Jay Garner, informing article by Dwain W. Penn of the PJR. $2,500 on fuel costs over $1,681? Office supplies 260% over budget? Why is the line item budget not being used? Does Mayor Callaway ever look at Molena's operations? Who is running the show?
I like your approach and the way you think Councilman Jay Garner.
This is to the point that it is no longer humorous to the citizens of Molena. $1,681 earmarked for fuel and over $2,500 spent. 260% over on office supplies, $900 over budget on training? Appears the mayor is not in touch with budgets nor utilize the council members for their also sworn duties. We citizens have to be on a household budget, cut back on our fuel, house needs, food, insurance and personal needs. Citizens watch your tax increases, water and garbage fees soar for the failure of true leadership.
Being a mayor is not just about prestige, it is a job to serve the citizens, not bankrupt the city.
I have never met Mr. Jay Garner but I pulled up his credentials, background, education and proven experience on GOOGLE. Everything there points to outstanding achievements. What a gift to Molena and it's citizens for Mr. Garner to offer his services. Time for a professional to run our small city. Check it out, Outstanding in every endeavor he has approached.
