I was visiting my Earth Angel, Margaret Brown, a year or so ago. A young girl walked through the room on her way outside to check on a new litter of kittens. After she walked out, I said to Margaret, "that is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life." She was absolutely stunning. Upon her return, Margaret introduced me to her Great-Granddaughter, Maddie. This young girl had wonderful manners and I enjoyed a nice conversation with her. She explained her love of racing to me, and that her dream is to be the first female to win The Daytona 500. I asked if she would give me her autograph...she did so, then handed it to me with a beautiful smile. I still have that slip of paper with Maddie's autograph.
Congratulations to you, Mad Maddie. May your dreams of the future come safely true.
