I wonder where they are going to go??? and when they will retaliate for their harsh treatment. If they didnt hate America before they were there, they darned sure will when they are free and on the loose..

Our new President is just looking for things he can sign to see his name in print. Next, we should free all the prisoners in all the jails in the United States. Guilty of murder, no problem.....fly, jailbirds, fly.

Seriously 'Shelia'? So he can see his name in print? I'm sorry. I thought it was his job as leader of the free world to enact policy. He spoke of shutting down Gitmo during his campaigning. It is now coming to fruition which is a refreshing change (albeit a big short sighted) from past presidents.

Neither he nor congress is going to free any convicted prisoners. What everyone has to understand is that Gitmo is a holding tank that is guilty of crimes against humanity (according to the Geneva Convention) and is detaining suspects who have not been given trials at all. Those that have are continually set free. It is nothing more than an expensive detention center and the real prisoners in there need to be treated as such.

Seriously 'Andrew'? Isn't it wonderful when people like us can voice our opinion by utilizing our Freedom of the Press? I love America. Obama is setting unconvicted murderers free when he condones abortions. Now, with his new presidential directive, he forces taxpayers to subsidize abortions overseas. Isn't it strange that everyone against abortion is already born? Imagine that?

Absolutely 'Sheila'. Freedom of press is wonderful in that you can speak, I can retort, and then you can come right back. I would only hope that if we were to be in person we would have the same respect for each other.

Obama is not setting anyone free. He is asking for Gitmo to be closed and those currently be detained to either be tried or relocated until they can be given a court hearing. Obama is pro-choice, yes. He has admitted such. But if we decide not to pray for him, not to speak up, not to use our right for assembly and voting, then we are giving up without letting him know how we, the people, feel about the issue. I would stand right beside you on pro-life.
