Family faults jail with death
The family of Randall Wayne Smith, 29, who passed away Sunday, Oct. 7 claims he was denied medical care while in the Pike County jail and that led to his death. According to Sheriff Jimmy Thomas, the Georgia Bureau of Investigations was called in to do interviews after the incident.

Sounds to me like Randy needs to go out of town and get him the best lawyer he can find. And some of our Sheriffs office employes need some training or put a superviser on at night and weekends that is capable of making an important decision. Looks like all the wrong decisions were made that night.
