The 2012 Lady Pirates softball team is hoping to bring home their fifth consecutive region championship this year. The Region Tournament kicked off Monday, Oct. 1 with a double header at 4 p.m.
Softball team aims for fifth straight region championship
The Pike County softball team has high expectations for finishing up the 2012 season. The Lady Pirates have battled with injuries and a tough schedule for a 12-10-1 record and are 6-0 in region play. They had home field advantage Oct. 1 for the region tournament as they aimed for their fifth consecutive region championship.
