Zebulon city council has approved a resolution to place on the local ballot Nov. 6 a referendum on whether the city should allow package sales of beer and wine on Sundays – but there may be more questions about alcohol to come.

Miss Kay, great informing article. I've noticed many business establishments offer discounts if you bring in a Church bulletin. Good for the consumer, good for the business and good for the tax revenue. Might run the discount by Rob to be sure it is OK. Why not have alcohol sales on Sunday, you can gamble on Sunday at every place in Pike County that has Lotto and scratch offs.
