Commissioners were unable to fill seats on several county boards at the Aug. 28 meeting because no one applied for the positions. Applicants are needed to fill vacancies on the Pike Area Transportation Committee, the Family and Children’s Service Board and the McIntosh Trail Council on Aging. Interested residents can apply at the commission office for the positions.

At present we have a two term board member who claims to be editor-in-chief of a Pike News Poll Blog. He has no clue between a "speach" and a speech. Do not eat the "speach."

Stay in school boys and girls.
