A summary judgement was rendered Aug. 13 by a senior judge outside the Griffin Superior Court Circuit regarding a lawsuit filed against Pike County by magistrate judge Marcia Callaway-Ingram. Judge Stephen Boswell ruled against the county by granting an order submitted on behalf of Callaway-Ingram. The county, after a closed session at a Monday, Aug. 20 meeting, voted to seek outside approval to appeal the decision.
