How much experience with rural counties with mostly dirt roads does he have?
I've lived in Pike all my life, and I live on a dirt road and I don't really want it paved. I do want the existing dirt roads to be maintained correctly. This includes making sure the expensive gravel isn't washing off when water runs across the roads because there are no ditches.
Take a drive down Hwy 18 West, and turn down Fosset Rd, across from Flat Shoals Rd. That's a prime example of what having no ditches does to a road.
Well, George, being a curious type person, I wondered what would happen if I clicked on "Member Page" in the log-in box. Lo and behold, it gave me the option to change my user name. Et Viola'!
On the bright side....your ox cannot get in a ditch, so you will never have a need to work on Sunday? By the way, I checked the phone book and cannot find anyone with the last name Resident? Are you spelling it correctly?
