The J. Joel Edwards Library will soon have three new employees after personnel changes were made at a recent meeting.
Changes made at library
The J. Joel Edwards Library in Zebulon is advertising for a new managing librarian and other positions after a June 14 meeting in which the head librarian was fired and two employees resigned. One trustee also resigned during the meeting. The library board rescinded its decision and allowed the head librarian to retire during a special called meeting the next day, June 15.
