Pike County commissioners held a special called meeting May 30 to discuss extending the advertising deadline for the county manager position. The county received 27 applications, all postmarked by June 1.

Citizens failed to read The Donald's half page ad in the PJR on himself. He said he hired a county manager. What happen to his great hiring abilities? Went South. NO one should be hired until after the election. There are only two commissioners on the BOC that have a brain, qualifications and interest in the Citizens of Pike County. These two ladies did not hire the last county manager.
