did the S.O. stop arresting folks or has some prominent citizens been kept from having their names on the blotter? Four weeks and no arrest report? this can go two ways for the incumbent campaign. No arrests = No crime or No arrests = someone not doing a good job... which one is it... any opinions? Walter, I know, I know... you guys can only post what you are given from the local force...

The sheriff's report was printed in the July 4 edition of the newspaper and included all arrests from June 7 to June 27. The sheriff's office computer system was down for almost three weeks due to encryption issues that required multiple IT workers/companies to fix. After all the handwritten arrest notes were entered into the working computer system, we did receive the reports from the Sheriff's Office.

thanks. That post was not a poke at our fine S.O. I just thought you guys forgot about the Pike County site with all the Lamar County goin'-ons. With that said, I can't eat another bite of basil pesto...
