Family and friends will gather to mourn murder victim Patricia Pitts this week. A bank fund has been established for the benefit of her four children and to pay funeral expenses.

I can't believe you people put his picture on here!! Trish was a very precious and dear friend of mine and to have to look at this disgusting piece of crap is sickening!!! She was a beautiful person, and I love her kids like my own, and to think they may pull this up on the computer and have to look at the dirt bag that took their mother's life. Come on people have a heart!!

I understand your anger but this was not his families fault. I know that if they knew what was going to happen they would have done everything in their power to stop this. I have been the victim of this kind of violence before myself and I know that the anger you feel is intense, however, use your energy on helping the victims family get through this instead of wasting energy blaming his family. They have to live with the reprocutions of his actions and clean up his mess. They are hurting also and in a different way. I am praying for peace for both families and you can be sure that he is paying for his actions. God Bless your family!!

Why don't you think about her children?
Honestly,do you think they should have to look at this man over and over again?
I didn't know Trish,but I do know Breanna,and she is the sweetest young girl I know.
I don't know how she'll cope knowing that she found her mom's lifeless body in the bushes.
So I ask you again,do you think it's fair to have his stanking picture on the computer after he took this woman's life and also her chidren's life?
I pray for his family also,I heard his mom was in the hospital when he done this. I can't imagine how she must feel about all this.
I pray that she will be able to get over what her son did. To his family may God bless all of you too,and I hope you and Trish's family will be able to grieve together one day.

Breanna, I heard that you can sing Jesus take the wheel like an angel. I would really like to hear you sing the song for me one day.
Mrs.Betty lives next door to me and told me that you and your mom went to her church.
Let me know the next time you plan on going and I'll come and hope you'll sing that song for me. Keep in touch and remember that everybody's praying for your family and your mom is looking down on you.

all of you who disrespect this man he was a great person who was pushed over the limit yes it was an irrational stupid and selfish decision but he deserves none of the things you say about him you know nothing of him so bite your tongues it is for god to make the decisions on what kind of person he was not any of you. You know none of the truth of what really happened so don't try and say anything about what he did he is paying his price and so is his family and trishes family is also I can only apologies from the bottom of my heart for his actions.

He disrespeted himself, his family,he did not respect his own Mother to have done this to her to set fire to her home and kill himself in her home. This does not constitute a good person. He planned this, this was not a spur of the moment thing he told Trish if he could'nt have her no one would.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, it seems that there were many warning signs that something like this could happen. Does anyone know if Trish had a restraining order placed on Roger Goolsby?

There is no excuse for the vicious crime that he committed. He had a choice not to take a mother away from her children. You are being very disrespectful to Ms. Pitts and her family for even defending this monster. I pray for his family along with the Pitts family. Neither of them deserve the pain he has inflicted. You must have the same morals as him by saying he was a good person. He had no excuse for this crime. If he was such a good person why was he in and out of jail. Good people don't commit violent crimes. And please don't bring God into your reasoning. God did not have anything to do with what Mr. Goolsby did.

hey this is brittany and i just wanted to thank everyone who has helped us and who was there for mom and her friends this is a very sad thing and yes im one of the kids but we need to stop all the fighting and help out this is so stuptid for us to do this LOOK everyone she is gone now so why fight im sick of all the drama and for his family u dont know how hard this is for me i found her and its realy hard for me THAT WAS MY MOM AND SHE WILL ALWAYS BE SHE NEVER WANTED THIS TO HAPPEN BUT IT DID AND WE ALL NEED EACH OTHER SO JUST STOP ALL THE DRAMA IM SICK OF IT AND SHE WOULD NOT BE TO PROUD OF YALL FOR FIGHTING I MISS HER AND SHE WILL ALWAYS BE LOVED

this is such a horrible tragedy. my heart is just broken,especially for those left behind. I sat at my house all Mothers day weekend, just thinking and wondering why, why, why..... i worked for Roger and considered him a good man, now by no means am i condoning his action which were reprehensible. There is no excuse. I am just so sorry it all happened. I wish I had known something somehow so maybe i couldve changed it all somehow.I didnt know Patricia but I hear she was a wonderful woman, my heart goes out to her children, losing a mother is a horrible thing, much less in this manner. Just remember she will always be looking down on you, momma's dont ever really leave their kids. May the peace only God can give rest on you.

hey girl i know we don't know each other that well but i just want to say that i love you
& im sorry for your loss. i know it's hard, veery hard but within time things will begin to get better, as hard as it is to belive it,

Nope she did not. Because if she had placed one she could have also been punished for contacting him, which she did consistently for bill payments. Verifiable by either of their phone records and from the companies she owed.
