An early afternoon fire destroyed a Pike home that dated back to the 1800s.

It is sad when old homes and buildings burn. They were built with real trees, with real labor by real men.
It saddens me.

I do not understand the aerial high rise fire truck on the site. It is sad they ran out of water. Love for a pet not making it out has to really hurt as much as the loss of the house and personal items.
