According to a campaign Facebook page, incumbent District 127 state representative Billy Maddox will have a challenger in the upcoming Republican primary

We should support Billy Maddox!
A local bolg owner keeps blasting State Representative Billy Maddox. I do not believe this blog owner should have a say so since he avoids paying his county taxes. Some take up for him saying he is having a tough time making ends meet. We all are! Maybe the blog owner should take less than 5 vacations per year he brags about, maybe he should try Bennie Winnies rather than breakfast at Ruth's and lunches at Concord Cafe until he can catch up his taxes. Get a job handling carts at WalMart and work your way up to Greeter.

Until then he should resign from Planning and Zoning Board where he makes decisions that cost citizens (who pay their taxes)big bucks.

Are you saying OUR or trying to say YOUR? If you are saying YOUR then you are not from around here otherwise you would know the avenues to take for verification. No brainer, everyone else in the county knows.

I'm from around here, George, and I have no idea what you're talking about either. I do support Billy Maddox, and I know his wife, all the other Moody's, and his brother and sister-in-law all very well (Heath and Amy I mean). But, I still don't get the biscuit eating comments from the fire guys, nor do I get the blog you reference. I think there is an inside group of political activists in Pike that is exclusive to only a few - and the group carries the loudest voice, but not the bulk of the votes (thank goodness for that).
