Parks and Recreation Authority members met with the Pike County manager and attorney at the January meeting to discuss Pike’s desire to dissolve the authority and place the parks and recreation property and management under the supervision of the county.

We have too many Chiefs and not enough Indians. The Indians are at the Sheriff's Department. I will guarantee you that Jimmy Thomas will let them out to assist the county. Win/Win!

Have you ever noticed how much weight people gain in jail? Why? I know the intent is not to reward the prisoners with better health, that will just be a positive side effect.

I am about sick of hearing about all the wonderful cuts the county makes but my taxes continue to rise? What is the deal? Can someone explain that to me? PLEASE!
