Kingsley to run for Congress

Former Lamar County commission chairman Kent Kingsley announced tonight he will run for the 3rd District seat in the United States Congress as a Republican. He will square off with incumbent Rep. Lynn Westmoreland.

He has a right to run for office and if elected to serve the people.If he can just avoid being endorsed by a small petty blog site which has 6 posters then he will do well.

I wonder if NOW would be a good time to expect a return phone call or email reply from Westmoreland from two years ago?

Perhaps he has incentive now!

I have had no problems getting return calls or emails from Rep. Westmoreland's office. I will continue to support Rep. Westmoreland as he stands up for the people in our district.

All Westmoreland does is vote party lines. He probably doesn't even read the bill.

Kingsley stands a good chance of knocking Westmoreland out of his seat.
