If Pike had an offense they would be going to the playoffs. Looks likes Pikes d held Waller in check. It's just unfortunate y'all couldn't pull this one out.

Yes Trojanblueman03 I agree the defense played a good game, a win from Pike would have clinched us 1st place in the region but we will definitely get it next week. Good Luck with the rest of your season Pike, that was a hard fought game.

Pike has been competitive all year. We have a chance to end up 5-5 on the season. I believe that is pretty good for a 1st year coach. The program is on the right track. Unfortunately, we are in an extremely weak conference. We will suffer 3 1st round playoff loses with only Lamar winning in the 1st round. Lamar loses in the 2nd round (I hope they win though) and that ends our regions season. (not trying to start anything Lamar folks, because I pull for all of our region teams in the playoffs). Private and open enrollment schools (Buford) own AA.

Yeah it's impossible for schools like us to win a championship with all of the open enrollment schools. I think everyone outside of Buford is rooting for a Buford lose, but with 11 possible d-1 players it's highly unlikely. I'm hoping we can squeeze into the 3rd round, but only time will tell.

I think Lamar will make it to the third round and play either Elbert County or North Oconee Thanksgiving weekend. We'll take our chances there and if it ends it's still been a great season for the Trojans.

Better check your compass on that one. First they have to get by our Pike Pirates and we are no pushovers!
