The Pike County Pirates were shutout 19-0 by the Lamar County Trojans Friday night in The Battle of Potato Creek, a key region matchup. Realtime scoring from the game was provided by Walter Geiger, Greg Parrot and Rachel McDaniel.
A standing room only crowd saw Pike kept off the scoreboard for the first time in 85 games by a stout Trojan defense.

Adequate yearly progress. Looks like the black students in Losemore are being short changed. But hey, at least you have a nice football stadium, right?
PC may have lost the football game, but more of us will win at the more important sport being played: Life!
