A Pike County bus driver was asked to resign after a school-initiated investigation. According to deputy superintendent Linda Tanner, the driver of the bus carried primary and elementary students to and from school.

No more drivers.
Parents go buy big alarm clocks and get your butts out of bed and take those green straw kids to school yourselves.
The big tellow bus takes them to be babysit at school at the taxpayers expense.
If you can't take you own kids to school then get fixed so you can't have more.
PARK THE DAMN SCHOOL BUSES!
PARENTS SHOW RESPONSIBILITY!
TAKE YOUR OWN KIDS TO SCHOOL!
YOUR KIDS SHOULD NOT BE FED BREAKFAST AT THE TAXPAYERS EXPENSE!
YOU HAD EM YOU SUPPORT EM!
IN GOD WE TRUST
PARK THE YELLOW BUS!
so:
"don't let the door hit you in the a55 on the way out"
I guess you people don't realize that The Pike County School system is the only thing that Pike County has going for it. Without the school and it's Yellow Buses this county would be nothing! As most people know enrollment at the schools is down this year, so take the buses away and see what happens!
As for you Fat Bass Tard, I have read many of your comments about how bad this county and it's people are, but I guess thats peaceful living as long as your the one bumbing your gums!
To #14, I'm just a nice Southern Lady!
i've also complained about the boe, boc, sheriff's office and the school administration. i feel it is my civic duty to do so when these organizations are wildly out of control as they have been for the last 10 years.
i like pike county, i've lived here my entire life and i like that it's small, rural, doesn't have a full time fire department or animal control.
as far as the school system, it was good before the current administration arrived and it will continue to be good long after they are gone. it has absolutely nothing to do with how they run the school. it has to do with the dedicated teachers that work at this school and the parents who in most cases tirelessly support them.
GO BACK TO YOUR REAL ADDRESS
So, here we are, we have a child in the middle school who takes the bus. Please tell me how my child will get to school if the busses stop running? Do you plan to take all the kids to school personally? If not, your comments are not needed. Just because you don’t need the bus service, doesn’t mean you have the right to put down those of us who do need the busses.
I commend the bus drivers for getting up so early to make sure the kids are on time for school and I commend the teachers for their hard work, time and devotion to all of the kids who attend Pike County schools.
Living in the United States means that you have the freedom to choose what religion you wish to participate in. Yes, Christians are the majority, but that does not mean that Christians get to rule everyone and it does not mean that Chrisitians get to do away with everyone that do not believe what they believe.
I believe in God, but I leave the judgement of others beliefs in Gods hands, he has the final say, not me.
stop quoting the revisionist history you learned in that liberal college you attended and learn some fact.
otherwise it just looks like you are ranting over and over again about not much of anything.
Lincoln was not a member of any church and Washington was a Freemason.
Just because they mentioned God in some of their writings does not make them Christians.
It still doesn't say in the Constitution that this Nation was founded on the Gospel of Jesus Christ nor does it say that this is a Christian Nation.
Just like obama mentioning America in some of his speeches does not make him an American.
Right?
It turns out that George only confessed to the chopping of the cherry tree because he needed an alibi at the time of the local tobaccy barn burning.
And Abe only freed the slaves because he needed their expertise to whip the South. His exact sentence was "I knew them dam Yankees could not whip their way out of a brown paper bag...do you like my hat...did you see my picture on the penny...that dress on the Geico does make Mary's butt look big?"
He rambles a little.
But they ain't sprang chickens anymore.
the only people that i see being persecuted in the USA for religious beliefs are Christians. making someone resign for discussing God and trying to help someone is PERSECUTION and the idea that you can't discuss religion in schools is expressly against the constitution of the United States.
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof"
note the last part of that sentence. interpretation:
congress will make no law about religion to promote or prohibit the free exercise thereof.
forcing the bus driver to resign was/is a violation of the first amendment right to freedom of religion.
2.Employees (teachers, bus drivers, etc...) of the public schools when acting in those roles are reprsentitives of the state and in those capacities are prohibited from encouraging or soliciting student religious or anti-religious activities.
Since they are represenitives of the state that brings in the Establishment of Religion Clause/ A wall of seperation between Church and State. So the bus driver can exercise his first amendment right on his/her own time when he is not a representive of the state, but not on the job when he/she is a representitive of the state.
again, stop spouting your revisionist doctrine created by the liberal, leftist colleges that also have produced such things as occupy stupid street.
