Jamie and Tiffany Pilkenton of Pike County announce the birth of their son Jaxon James Pilkenton at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011, at Fayette Piedmont Hospital in Fayetteville.
He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are J.D. and Kim Dawson and Ralph and Cheryl Cannon, all of Pike County. Maternal great-grandparents are Harvey and Imogene McNeely of Riverdale and Robert Cannon and Martha Nelson of Darien.
Paternal grandparents are Bob and Karen Monteith of Griffin and Jimmy Pilkenton of Pike County. Paternal great-grandparents are James and Mary Pilkenton of Pike County and Frank and Gloria Fields of Griffin.
