Local music legend laid to rest

Musical master and local legend John Williams, 75, passed away Sept. 6. He was one of the founders of the Music Barn in Williamson and an honorary inductee into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1998 for his contributions to bluegrass music.

Mr. John was a wonderful man and will be deeply missed. To Mrs. Sandra and Donna and the family you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.

John's favorite group was The Door's. Not everyone knew this. He will be missed.

I'm so saddened to just hear about John's passing. If anyone knows Denise's number, I would greatly appreciate either asking her to get in touch with me or if you would, please forward her number. Our two families have been life long friends and I wish to be able to send my condolences to Denise. Thanking you in advance....may John rest in peace.

My father was a blessing to all who met him and a friend to all who knew him. What a priviledge it is and always has been to be his daughter. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers.
