Pike County’s Advanced Placement students have beat the average global grade for college-credit classes taken last year. The high school leads the state, nation and world for passing grades in AP courses, with 152 students passing AP tests - 62% of AP students.

That is great. Congratulations to all who accomplished this goal. When I went to Pi Co High, I thought it was just a school. In retrospect, it would have qualified as a Private School, even in my day. I had some truly GREAT teachers Miss Dugger, Mrs Hammond, Mrs. Means..the list goes on.
