Pike Red All-Stars head to World Series

The Pike Red 7-8 All-Star team won the Dixie-Youth Machine Pitch State Tournament recently. The tournament was held in Perry and the Pike Red team defeated Lamar County, Taylor County, Baldwin County and Perry to win the tournament.

This is why Pike County High School has one of the best baseball teams in the state, because to develop a high School program you have to have a great feeder program. Congrats and GO GET EM!!!!!!!

Pike has a good baseball feeder program but no championships so that just makes them okay just like those ATL Braves!

Four straight Region Championships? Hmm sounds like Championships to me. A bunch of the players have gotten college scholarships. The field is one of the best in the state. Hmm sounds like a Championship program to me. What they lost the state championship this year? You failed to mention how many private schools who can recruit their players that Pike defeated. Hmm. Keep yapping.

Pike aint beat no one this is the weakest region in the state...Lamar,Moticello,and a bunch of other no name programs! Pike never stands up to the real competition once they arrive in town! Keep the region championship but try and win a state..dont think so!!!!!!!
