The University of Georgia has put Beckham Farm in Pike County on the market in an attempt to reduce budgetary constraints on the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.

Pike County is home to two experimental research farms that are part of the University of Georgia’s College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences. Due to continued budget cuts since 2009, one of the local research farms is listed for sale.
