A 27-year-old woman was accidentally shot Thursday, July 7 at her home on Highway 19 North.

Ummmmm.....I think thats what the entire article is stating.....that it was an ACCIDENT! At least I hope the investigators know what they are doing. Geeeeeeesh people!!!

Maybe the Sheriff's Department needs a check up from the neck up. Do I count 7 county vehicles on that call? Talk about rubber neckers, they need Zebulon Police Department there to direct traffic of the PCSD vehicles.

Im sorry to hear what happen to the wife. But for the husband all I have to say is God don't like UGLY!!!! You have to be careful how you treat people when you sow a bad seed you reap one think about how you brought evilness to those custodians lives.

That is what I was asking, are they sure it was an accident? I heard her husband could be mean at times. Read my question again. Are they sure it was an accident,or are they trying to cover something else up because he works for the school and people in the school system love him. So geeeeeeeeesh back at ya!

did he accidentally point it at his wife or accidentally pull the trigger? from reading the post it seems major neal concluded that both accidents happened simutaneously.

can't help but agree with MEEEEE. Many in the school think it smells funny too. He has been very hateful to more than not. One rumor stated he was going home to get the gun for someone to borrow??? Poor girl...in more ways than one.

Why did the paper not mention the man as head of maintenace and technology for Pike County Schools? Notice they didn't even mention his name. I am so tired of how the Journal "happens" to leave out negative facts when it has to due with higher authority individuals of Pike Schools.
The subject was brought in by the schools' super and has been everything but pleasant to deal with. I will be digusted if this man is allowed to continue working for the system and given the freedom to walk the halls amongst our children.

Coward? This is the only website i see where people are stupid enough to use their real names. My neighbor got so mad at a poster once he was ready to do some unspeakable acts to a woman who keeps disrespecting a country he lost a leg fighting for. Then he seen her picture on Facebook and realized she would suffer more if he let her live.LOL The lord does work in mysterious ways!!

Is it possible that when this story was posted, investigators didn't want the details released in case they needed to build a case?
